2010 swim Test
This will be held on 19th April 6.30-7.30pm at Moira House Swimming Pool.
All members should attend this so we can assess their competency - especially if considering sculling.
Cost £2 each to cover cost of pool hire.
Please let Lesley know if you cannot attend.

Swim Test
Thanks to Lesley and Emily Saunders for organising and supervising the swim test. Thanks to Moira House School for the use of their pool.
Please take time to reflect on the difference between the controlled conditions of the test and the potential hazards we encounter on the river and the sea.

Eastbourne Regatta
Hi everyone, in between degreasing all the frying pans etc, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for helping to get this off today - I may organise the bulk of this but it only works because of team work!!
Special thanks to Lyn ( delayed her holiday by 2 days to let James row!!), Sue PR and Kerry for all their help in the clubhouse ( and trip to Tesco's!)
Looking forward to doing it all again next year ?!!!!

ARA WATER SAFETY AUDIT
Hi,
I'm being chased for your water safety audit - can someone please get back to me and let me know who is responsible to do this? I have no idea who it was sent out to as it would have come directly from the ARA (Stuart Ward) but they are supposed to be returned to me to compile. Clubs are banned from competing at any ara of cara event until it is done... and unfortunately as it's way past the time they were due (31st Dec) a list of Club who have failed to complete them is about to be posted on the ARA site.

This is a hard milestone early into winter training but the committment from the squad should produce some excellent results.

Herne Bay Regatta
Well done crews at Herne Bay! Great day for ERC.
2nd in Novice ladies was an excellent result but I reckon you rowed better to 2nd place in Junior ladies. Good composure under strong pressure from Worthing.
Good effort lads in Senior IV's and a well worked and deserved win in J/Senior IV's.
APR gets better and better as club coxswain!
